The Excellence in Boiler Innovation (EBI) Awards recognize the most cutting-edge and impactful projects in the boiler industry. Boiler projects are a collaborative effort and our goal is to highlight all partners of highly successful projects, including key component providers and the innovative forward-thinking end-user.

Application & Scoring Criteria

Recipients will be selected by a panel of third-party ABMA member judges who will evaluate each entry based on completeness of application along with the innovation, value and creativity of the project that addresses the desires and challenges brought forth by the end-user. Each answer is limited to a maximum of 175 words.

• Application (scores 1-5) – Applications must include project name (exactly as you would want it used in promotional materials), project overview, photos and list of partners & end-users.

• Innovation (scores 1-10) - What is new, unique, or revolutionary about this project? What features enabled the end-user to achieve new levels of operation?

• Value (scores 1-10) – What is the increased production, energy efficiency gains and/or bottom-line fuel savings from this project? NOTE: Entries will be rated higher that include supporting data and third-party validation.

• Creativity (scores 1-10) – How did your company creatively address the various end-user challenges? Did project partners also offer solutions to overcome these challenges?

Eligibility and General Information

• Applications are only open to BOILER 2022 exhibitors in good standing.

• Eligible projects are commissioned no earlier than April 1, 2020, and must be operational for at least 3 months prior to submission.

• Exhibitors are only permitted to submit one project.

• All applications must be submitted by March 12, 2022, to be considered.

Recognition for Recipients
The recipients will be informed prior to BOILER 2022 and recognized during the event with the boiler manufacturer, ancillary partners and the end-user receiving a plaque. All recipients will also be recognized in the next issue of Today’s Boiler.
